I am sure LILO really feels bad that she got caught lifting a necklace from a swank LA store, but everyone owed her something for her fame. Right? I mean totally, she’s a total A-list class act celeb, like you know?!
Well, a judge Los Angeles Superior Court Judge (Stephanie Sautner) thought the actress had intentionally taken the $2,500 necklace and shown poor judgment in not trying to return it until police became involved.
The judge initially reduced the actress’ charge from felony grand theft to a lesser misdemeanor charge and imposed the 120-day sentence.
Now that was a break for LILO – I am sure if your 24 year old friend from east LA would get the same break, right?
The best part of the sentence was that Judge Sautner hoped to give the “Mean Girls” and “Freaky Friday” star a dose of perspective by sentencing her to almost 500 hours of community service, including time at the county morgue and 300 hours at a women’s shelter in downtown LA.
LILO helping poor people? Eeeeeyyyyeewwwwww!!! They smell!!!
Well, the stupid bitch got her lawyer Shawn Holley to file a notice of appeal right before court closed, clearing the way for the actress’ release on bail.
April,23 2011, after 18 hours in jail, LILO was freed at 9:21 p.m. after posting $75,000 bail, according to the sheriff department’s website.
Deputy District Attorney Danette Meyers also said her office would consider appealing the ruling as well. Low friends in high places?
She could afford $75,000 bail, but not a $2,500 necklace? WTF!!!
It is my opinion, that LILO needs to do some hard jail time. 120 day minimum. She needs to clean toilets, be lonely, get off of drugs and most of all she needs to be someone’s bitch.
Then 300 hours in the downtown LA women’s shelter will help put her life in perspective, and maybe she might become a better person.
